Vantage and Philips Pronto Team Up To Release new ProntoScript Modules for Pronto Control Panels

Cutting-Edge Handheld Design Combined with the Power of InFusion Technology Provides Complete Bi-Directional Control of Home Automation System

OREM, UT, August 24, 2010 - Vantage, the leader in home automation solutions for luxury homeowners, today announced its collaboration with Philips Pronto to release two-way ProntoScript™ communication modules for control of Vantage home automation systems. Completely customizable, the Pronto Control Panel TSU9400, TSU9600, and TSU9800 can be programmed to function similar to a Vantage touchscreen or keypad, or to act as a stand-alone control panel.

Using TCP/IP commands, the Pronto Control Panel communicates via WiFi over the home area network.  Control status and feedback are returned to the panel for visual confirmation.  With this approach all task and button VIDs can be controlled from the Pronto Control Panel.

Ergonomically designed for both one- and two-handed control, the Pronto Control Panels are infused with a sleek style featuring a crisp LCD touchpanel screen and an intuitive rotary curser.

Vantage has developed easy-to-use programming templates to customize the Pronto Control Panel to integrate with the Vantage Infusion System in minutes. Installers can re-create Vantage themes and button functions on the Pronto, as well as emulate touchscreens and keypads using VID, making the remote feel familiar to Vantage customers.  Using the Pronto Control Panel, homeowners have complete control of their lighting, media, comfort, and energy control.

The Pronto Control Panels will be featured at CEDIA 2010 in Atlanta, Ga., in both the Vantage booth (925) and the Phillips Pronto booth (2828).  The control panels can now be purchased directly through Vantage; they are in-stock effective immediately.  Most tech support queries for Pronto will be fielded by the Pronto team at 1-888-773-7384. Questions regarding Vantage integration can be directed to the Vantage tech support at 801.229.2800.
