The Vantage LCD Remote Control is a learnable infrared remote control that is used to control anything on the Vantage System. It can be programmed just like a Vantage keypad, or can act as a stand alone remote. It has a programming library with codes for over 1,000 audio/video component brands, which facilitates component configurations by simply entering three digit codes for the desired equipment. The LCD Remote Control can learn functions from other remote controls. This provides a single remote solution to control equipment directly or through the Vantage System. Once programmed, it operates in as many as eight different audio/video modes.
